Looking Forward To The New Shaped Babies!

Hey Gang!
Mattel is doing something new!  They are releasing dolls with different body types!
I know right!  How much of this has come from what they have seen us bloggers do
with our dolls?  A lot I think! We have all seen people rebody different heads on
the Rosie O'Donnell body!
This is my Marie that I re-bodied

They are adding a tall, petite and a curvy(which means full figure) dolls to
the line in different complexion (WOO HOO!) With seven skintones!

I don't think they are doing brand new bodies but using body styles from
dolls that they have done in the pass but how know they just might!

Here are the ones at the top of my list! That's right, I'm looking for the big girls!
It is about time for an AA full figured Barbie!
The curvy "emoji fun" Barbie doll AA
I might get this one even with the bent arm.
The curvy "so sporty" Barbie doll

Now this girl looks like a few women I've worked with!
I got to have her!
The curvy "spring into style" Barbie doll

OK, Thanks For Looking!

Count DooKu

Hey Gang!

I have two more Star Wars action figure to do to complete my post of
my Star War action figures collection!  It might be four but I am planning on
selling a few action figures.  If I do that it is only two.

Anyway...you might has seen my post of Dr. Ian Evans,

he also does doubleduty as CNN reporter Gulf Blitzer

( a take on Wolf Blitzer).

 Interviewing the Obamas

I purchase him because it hard to find dolls with gray hair.  I like to have dolls with
gray hair in my dollie world even if I cover up my own gray hair in real life! I feel on
my blog and and in movie, there should be a prominent place for  older dolls...
my Silver Foxes! Life doesn't stop being interesting at a certain age.  Life is as
interesting as you make it.

Yes, he is a Silver Fox!

The action figure appeared in Star Wars, The Attack Of The Clones.
Unlike many of my action figures and dolls that I have that go along with movies, I have
seen all of the Star War moves.

I purchase this doll in Toy R US that was near me before they closed.  What stood out
was the expression on his face...serious, aloof, pensive!

He comes with a cape and red light saber.
Under the cape he wears a black top and pants, brown belt and black boots.
He is a great character and it is nice not to have to find a body for him.

OK, Thanks For Looking!

Facebook!

Hey Gang!

I have been having big fun on Facebook!  I've sold some things and I've bought some
things and I've met some new people. It almost like having a doll club meeting... not
quite but the next best thing!

Muff, I think you might like
Magical Misfits-Info and Advice on Remaking, Repairing,  Re-loving Our Dolls.
They are your kind of people.  I think you could repost
some of your blog photos and info there.  It a place where people ask and answer
questions about dolls,  repair and alter dolls and they do dioramas too!

D7ana, I know that your are interested in sell some of your dolls.  I think you might
like
People in these pages sell dolls and accessories.  You never know what your might find!
People contact your if they are interested and you private message about details of
shipping and payment arrangements.  It is different than selling on eBay or the
old Dollpage Show and Sell. There is no cost to list or sell.  You must join the page.
People may contact you about trying to bargain with you.  You can say
yes or no.  I sold an outfit for cheaper than my asking price because the person
didn't need the shoes or purse. I will relist those items with other items I plan
on selling. You get likes to your post and sometimes more information about
an items.

Some of the Facebook pages even have event pages where they do things simular
to the Diva Doll page board.  They post doll pictures and share info on making
doll related items.

The sites I have mentioned have more traffic but there are others like
Ken Doll Collectors, Monster High Guru Buy Sell Trade &Talk and
Action Figures Lovers' Page: GI Joe, Hot Toys, BBI

There are many more places on Facebook to see and sell doll related items.
So check out these pages and let us know if you see others.

FYI- I still sell on Mister Dollface but items don't seem to sell as fast.

OK, Thanks For Looking!

Happy New Year!

Hey Gang!

This is my Nola wishing you Happy Holidays!  I posted this photo on Facebook.
You might have seen it there!  She is wearing a bottle cover I got in the after
Christmas sales!

So anyway....Happy New Year!  aHHHSorry I haven’t posted sooner. I have been taking
a class on discover and living your gifts. It was wonderful!  Maybe I will talk to
you about it later.

One thing I love about the New Year is New Year post.  Many people post about
what they plan to do for the New Year.  I love see what they have planned.
I want to Vanessa for noticing that I did try to keep up and do my posts on the
year of the children. I didn’t get a chance to post all my dolly children but I did
get to a number I was please with.

My plans for this year are to:

  1. Sell the things that I am no longer using or interested in.
  2. To find more venues to sell dolls and doll related things. I really don’t like selling on eBay anymore.
  3. To only purchase doll stuff with the money from what has been sold.
  4. Do more customizing of dolls
  5. Complete projects- I will need to number them so that I know how many I have to complete.
  6. Take more photos.  Even if I don’t post them.
  7. Post and complete more informational post.
  8. Introduce more dolls and give them stories.  (They aren’t doing me any good sitting in a box.)
  9. Do more diorama posts.
  10. As always “get more organized”.
This year will be the year of my Silver Foxes!

OK, I’ll share one of the things I learned in the class I took.  You not only want
to surround yourself with people who support you but with people who hold
you accountable to the things you say you want to do.

OK, Thanks For Looking!
